In 2019, Alan Wartes Media was contracted by Western Colorado University to produce a short video to promote the new Paul M. Rady School of Computer Science in Engineering. The school is a partnership between Western and the University of Colorado, Boulder school of engineering. Funded by a generous gift from Paul and his Katy Rady, the program will grant CU degrees to students while allowing them to study in Gunnison. Paul Rady is a western alum and energy industry executive.

The video was designed to recruit students by inspiring them to be part of an exciting future. Working closely with a Denver-based education marketing firm, Alan Wartes Media handled all aspects of production, from pre-production and casting to principle photography and post-production.
